Personal Shopper
I have not used the personal shopper service at Nordstrom until recently. I kept receiving e-mails and promotional mailers inviting me to shop and receive a $50 credit. I finally decided "why not?". I made my appointment and provided them with details such as my size, taste, and what I would like to add to my closet. My main goal was to find a nice multi-functional pantsuit. Unfortunately, I did not leave with a pantsuit. Much to my dismay, they did not even have a coordinated suit to offer me. I must admit I was disappointed and quite frankly surprised they couldn't fulfill my wish list.
But, all was not lost! I would like to share an outfit I helped put together and purchased. I selected the booties The personal shopper recommended the sweater and coated skinny jeans. Typically, I would not have selected these jeans. I was hesitant if they were age appropriate. Another customer assured me that I looked terrific and was most certainly not dressing too young. Don't you love it when we women lift each other up?
I don't know if my pictures do this justice. I get compliments on the boots every time I wear them and they are so comfy. The booties are by Sperry Topsider. The jeans are J Brand and are the Coated Skinny Blackberry. I have to admit I do like!! And the sweater is by Hinge and is the ZipBack. It is available in several colors. Of these three, the jeans were the splurge (they are now on sale--lucky you). The sweater and boots were reasonably priced. I love 'em!
