Paint instead of Paper

Something that I have come to rely on is to mimic wallcover by using paint. Sometimes it doesn't seem appropriate to paper a space. This is when we can get creative with paint. I've done this several times and it's a great way to make a wall or room pop. The first was when remodeling my daughter's bathroom. Her bedroom was in pink and blue. The bathroom ended up with an art deco vibe. The granite counter had a transcendent blue look and iridescent tiles were placed around the mirror. When the painter said he could mimic a style of wallpaper I liked, I said "yes"! It reminds me of silly string. It was a big hit with everyone. Unfortunately, I don't have many pictures, but this one! If I find more, I will post more!
