This is the first time I bought a brand new home. It certainly wasn't my intent but the housing market in Nashville was such a seller's market and inventory was low. This house and neighborhood seemed to fit MOST of my needs. I wanted a single story, but that didn't happen. I typically like to buy older homes and make them my own through rehab. However, in my last house I priced myself right out of the market, so maybe this was a wiser move...
