Feeling Off-Centered

When decorating, it seems like the go-to rule is to have things "centered". Our first thought is to measure the space and then center our display. It's so much more fun to break the rule and go for a look that is a little off-center. At my prior home, I decided to throw things off balance when I hung my clock over the fireplace. it looks so much more interesting placed a little bit off to the side. My tip to you, the next time you're feeling a little "off-centered", go with it.
