Prep Work
A tiny tweak. A subtle shift. It’s amazing how some simple little changes to our daily routine can set the course for our day. An easy way to create calm out of the chaos is to prepare what you can the night before. This is something that saves me mere minutes, but we know that in most mornings, minutes count. And they add up. I have my coffee station set so all I have to do is hit the Brew button. When I set up the kitchen, I try to set up stations or areas where everything is handy for that task is at hand. You can see from the photos I have my coffee station at one counter, and my wine bar at another. Everything needed to pour myself a cup of coffee or glass of wine is within arm’s reach. No searching, seeking, or madly dashing.
