A More Organized Space
It is surprising how just a small tweak here and there can not only improve the appearance but really make more efficient use of a space. When I remodeled our previous home, I hated the dark cabinets. It wasn't in the budget, but I couldn't get it out of my mind. I was remodeling the home in Ohio while still living in California. Let me just say, I had a fantastic contractor I was working with or it could have been a disaster. Thankfully, the home came together perfectly. Anyhow, the day before I was ready to head back to California I couldn't get those cabinets out of my mind. After a hurried phone call to my husband, I convinced him to make the change. I hurriedly got a basic plan together. Like I said my contractor was a dream, so after our initial plan we easily made modifications over the phone. Take a look at how the new space is such a vast improvement over the old space. Gone is the outdated messy kitchen desk area. I created the roll-top garage to hide the intercom and phone center. The beverage center fit perfect into this area and the glass doors makes everything lighter. I think it is now not only prettier, but much more functional and organized.
